About this project

A COVID-19 information and tracking web application focused on Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco. Built with Node.js, Express.js, EJS, and MySQL, it retrieves case statistics from a database (sourced from CONACYT open data) and displays confirmed cases, deaths, recoveries, active cases, and suspected cases with a color-coded traffic light risk indicator (Red/Orange/Yellow/Green) that triggers contextual modals with safety recommendations.

Includes a searchable hospital directory with embedded Google Maps, attention level indicators (mild/severe symptoms), addresses, and phone numbers.

Also serves as an educational hub with detailed vaccine specification cards (Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, Cansino, Sinovac) covering dosage, platforms, side effects, and local availability, plus comprehensive COVID-19 prevention guidance.
